Why this blog?

I'm blessed to be rooted in The New Covenant Church in Malaysia, a body of believers that feeds on solid teachings about Jesus and His finished work on the cross.

Being involved with the youth and children ministries, I wanted to learn how to help them uncover these New Covenant truths in the Bible for themselves and to fall in love with the person of Jesus. However, I've found that it's not easy finding off-the-shelf materials and programmes that rightly divide the word of God. So for the past year or so, I have had to prepare lessons from "scratch" or modify existing materials.

There were also so many questions I had now that I was looking through New Covenant lenses — How do you bring up children? How does a grace-based youth ministry look like? How do you approach prayer, discipleship, evangelism and giving? How do you study the Bible? I believe these are questions any grace-based church will have. And I hope, with this blog, we can share our findings and pool our resources to help each other grow and build up individuals, families and communities in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

At the same time, I want to introduce the Gospel of Grace to anyone out there who would like to discover Jesus and all He has done for us.
